We are pleased to announce that this year's Faith Formation classes for First Communion and Confirmation will begin on Sunday, 17 September. 

Lessons will start at 9:30 with the students brought to the 10:30 Mass (in Italian) afterwards. The children will attend Mass together as a group with the Catechists and actively participate in Mass. Parents and family are also encouraged to attend Mass as we are all part of one community of faith. Faith Formation classes do not replace Mass attendance. 

Parents and students are invited to attend the Mandatory Registration Meeting scheduled for Saturday afternoon, 16 September from 1:00 to 3:00 in the Holy Rosary Lower Church Hall. During this meeting, parents must:  

• complete the registration process if they have not done so online;
• submit a copy of the student’s Baptismal Certificate;
• submit the registration fee 
  • by check made payable to Holy Rosary Church with “First Communion or Confirmation Registration Fee” along with the child's name included on the memo line
  • by credit card payment at the meeting; and
• receive the students’ books. 

Also, during this meeting, our new Parochial Administrator, Father Walter Tonelotto, along with the Catechists and the Faith Formation Director will provide pertinent administrative information about the classes and will address parents and students on the importance of the Sacraments and the important roles all of us, especially the parents and families, play in preparing the students for these beautiful sacraments. Any questions families and students may have will be answered.  We are all given a special opportunity to have a positive and lasting spiritual impact on these students.

Le lezioni per la Prima Comunione e la Cresima inizieranno domenica 17 settembre alle ore 9.30. Il programma dell'anno sarà pubblicato su questo sito.

I genitori e gli studenti sono invitati a partecipare alla riunione di iscrizione obbligatoria sabato 16 settembre 2023, dalle 13:00 alle 15:00, nella sala inferiore della chiesa.  Durante questo incontro, i genitori devono:  

• completare la procedura di iscrizione, se non l'hanno fatto online;
• presentare una copia del certificato di battesimo dello studente;
• presentare la quota di iscrizione
  • con assegno intestato alla Chiesa del Santo Rosario con "Quota di registrazione per la Prima Comunione o Cresima" insieme al nome del bambino incluso nella riga del promemoria;
  • oppure usando una carta di credito; e
• ricevere i libri degli studenti.  

Inoltre, durante questo incontro, il nostro nuovo Amministratore Parrocchiale, Padre Walter Tonelotto, i Catechisti e Direttore della Formazione alla Fede presenteranno informazione amministrative delle classe e parleranno ai genitori e agli studenti dell'importanza dei Sacramenti e del ruolo importante che tutti noi, specialmente i genitori e le famiglie, svolgiamo nel preparare gli studenti a questi bellissimi Sacramenti, e potranno rispondere a qualsiasi domanda delle famiglie e degli studenti.  Tutti noi abbiamo un opportunità speciale di avere un impatto spirituale positivo e duraturo su questi studenti.
