The immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul to heavenly glory.
As part of our Catholic and Italian traditions, we will celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of Mary after the 10:30 Mass on Sunday. Upon conclusion of the Mass, a procession will start from the Church heading to the Courtyard while reciting the Rosary and singing Marian hymns. It ends back at Church with a simple benediction.
All are invited to participate, especially children who will carry flowers and throwing petals during the procession.
